Picture

Itani lives, works, and gardens in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her interdisciplinary practice is inspired by the cultural fabric of life -- drawing from the domestic sphere, travel, chance encounters, and her ancestry in Lebanon.

Currently on her bookshelf:
100 Love Sonnets by Pablo Neruda
A Field Guide to American Houses by Virginia McAlester

She is a member of Black Hound Clay Studio and she has volunteered as a Master Gardener since 2021. Back in Florida, she co-founded Tally Zine Fest in 2017, and has led a variety of workshops and classes in drawing, mixed media studies, ceramics, zine making, and print to makers of all ages.
