Itani lives, works, and gardens in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her interdisciplinary practice is inspired by the cultural fabric of life -- drawing from the domestic sphere, travel, chance encounters, and her ancestry in Lebanon. She is a recipe developer and you can access some of her writing here.

Colleen received her MFA in Studio Art at Florida State University in 2019. She has shown work throughout the U.S. and completed residencies at Vermont Studio Center and Project 1612. Currently, she is a member of Black Hound Clay Studio and she has volunteered as a Master Gardener since 2021. Back in Florida, she co-founded Tally Zine Fest in 2017. She has led a variety of workshops and classes in drawing, mixed media studies, ceramics, zine making, and print to makers of all ages.
