Itani lives, works, and gardens in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her interdisciplinary practice is inspired by the domestic sphere, kismet, her ancestry in Lebanon, the duality of self, and a touch of whimsy.
Currently on her bookshelf:
100 Love Sonnets by Pablo Neruda
A Field Guide to American Houses by Virgina McAlester
All Fours: Miranda July
She is a member of Black Hound Clay Studio, co-founded Tally Zine Fest in 2017, and has led a variety of workshops and classes in drawing, mixed media studies, ceramics, zine making, and print to makers of all ages.
